Honoring Dr. Cindy Ivanhoe
Luminary of the Year honors a person who embodies the voice of brain injury, advancing prevention, awareness, research, treatment, education, and advocacy. Our 2025 honoree is Dr. Cindy Ivanhoe. Dr. Ivanhoe is a nationally recognized expert in brain injury medicine and rehabilitation. Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine, she directs the SPASM Program at TIRR Memorial Hermann and serves as Clinical Professor at McGovern Medical School. Her work spans the full continuum of care, with a focus on spasticity and functional recovery. A prolific author and educator, she has led FDA research on therapies for spasticity and serves on numerous boards and advisory councils.
