Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Amy Grant sustained a concussion after a serious bicycle accident in 2022. She learned a lot about life and herself during her recovery. “I learned firsthand that recovery from a brain injury does not happen all at once. It’s a journey.”
In honor of National Concussion Awareness Day, Amy Grant has partnered with the Brain Injury Association of America to spread the message that a concussion is a brain injury. “Every nine seconds, someone in the U.S. sustains a brain injury. A lot of times, it goes unseen or unsupported. But we can change that.”
Join Amy and others within the brain injury community by supporting the work of the Brain Injury Association of America and our mission to improve the quality of life for people affected by brain injury across their lifespan.
